Best clan match practice
To all that game on behalf of The Consols Knights I thought to put out a note that may help and guide us in the best means of being able to provide an all round good experience and understanding of operating the clan games.
Once a game has been arranged and a team organised there is a need to be able to tie up the game with the other side. This shall be done by the exchange of GamerTags, between a member of our team and a member of theirs.
At the time of playing the teams should be on line and ready to go, then the other team can be either invited to the game or will invite us to the game.
As the teams are brought together it is nice for all members to pass on a greeting, there is nothing worse than being fronted by silence, and I know at times it can be hard to break the silence, but often once this is done it can be a lot friendly from the outset, so please all be vocal from the start.
Once the games are about to be underway, teams should choose sides to play, just to avoid the auto select and being on the wrong side.
Between games and in the lobby, there is nothing wrong with some friendly banter and chat about the game or gaming in general, but please if there is anything to be said about the other team for what ever reason keep it until they have left the party.
Match results, it is good to capture the results per game so that we can post up scores, give badges etc, and I know this can be a pain, but if possible capture a picture of the scores with a mobile perhaps, this will not only speed things up, but may save handwriting cramp!! The scores can then be taken down at leisure afterwards, please do not worry if any are missed, we all do the best we can and all accept that.
At the end of the game, no matter what the scores, pass on thanks and goodbyes, lasting impressions can be made by conduct at the end more than from the entire match.
I will endeavour to get results posted up as soon as possible, with match reports, so any comments about the game will always be welcomed so they can be added in.
Like I said I am trying to guide these games for the best of all involved, and little things can make a difference, also it is good for all involved to know how it works, but any comments you may have I will welcome.
